Grant Funding, Business Case
March 2016
Morrison Low has built an expert team of financial analysts, economists, engineers and business case specialists who have developed an extensive track record of assisting clients prepare funding applications for infrastructure grants.
Whether it be an airport, road, saleyard, pipeline or other piece of transport or community infrastructure, seeking grant funding requires a strong approach to economic analysis that ensures project costs and benefits are carefully analysed across a project’s lifecycle; a realistic Benefit Cost Ratio is calculated; economic and social impacts that flow from a project are quantified and described; and other project risks, delivery, strategic alignment and management issues are well understood.
Morrison Low’s multidisciplinary team work together, and in close partnership with council staff, to ensure that all inputs to a business case and funding application come together to present an accurate, comprehensive and compelling case for funding bodies. Our business cases and funding applications have had a very high success rate, so far achieving a significant amount of grant funding for regional and rural communities across a range of different project types.
